<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">En el transcurso de la campaña de excavación 2014 decidimos abrir un corte aquí, con la intención de dignificar el sitio arqueológico y comprender si la enorme cantidad de fragmentos de cerámica que los expoliadores habían abandonado correspondía a un </span>horno<span style="font-weight: normal;"> dedicado a la producción de ánforas. </span></span></div>

Durante la </span>primera fase<span style="font-weight: normal;"> se excavó el sector afectado por el expolio, documentando dos muros que formaban parte de una misma habitación, concentrándonos en el interior de este espacio y descubriendo en el ángulo un conjunto de </span>9 recipientes<span style="font-weight: normal;"> de pie, además de </span>6 ejemplares<span style="font-weight: normal;"> </span>caídos<span style="font-weight: normal;">. </span></span></div>

El conjunto de ánforas se amplió con </span>22 nuevos ejemplares<span style="font-weight: normal;">, aunque en esta ocasión el espacio no había sido afectado por el expolio y pudimos observar cómo el incendio había provocado la caída de las paredes y el techo, provocando la rotura de las ánforas que estaban apoyadas contra el muro. </span></span></div>
